A view of Piazza Farnese in Rome. The fountains are notable because the large vat which has been used as part of the fountain basin were found and taken from the enormous ancient Roman baths of Caracalla.
Napoleon had a go at removing them as part of his war booty but they turned out to be to cumbersome and heavy, so here they still are.
The square is dominated by the Palazzo Farnese, with its Renaissance facade by Michelangelo.
