Tiberius was one of the Caesars: the emperor who succeeded Augustus. Born on the 16th November 42AD of a father who sided with those responsible for Caesar’s murder presumably in the name of republican freedom. He then went to side with Mark Anthony in Greece. They returned to Rome when Augustus had pardoned the opposing faction.
